Here's the state of our jouranalism in a nutshell -- talking head pundits make fun of a politician for a "gaffe" on a word when, in fact, the politician is right and the pundit is wrong:
Full disclosure here: I heard Biden say this and thought the same thing (e.g., he meant "Bosnians" not "Bosniaks." In reality, he meant Bosniaks, which is the correct term for the group he was referring to.
The difference being, I'm not on the TeeVee proclaiming I'm right and he's wrong, when the opposite is true. Wonder if Cokie will demand a retraction from herself.
