WTF is McCain thinking calling the "health of the mother" a "far left" and "pro abortion" stance?
Its the law as interpreted by the United States Supreme Court. The reason that so-called "partial birth" abortion laws have been struck down by the Supreme Court is that they lack an exception for "health of the mother."
If there are any remaining Clinton voters on the fence, this type of thing couldn't have been helpful in getting them off of that fence. Sure, the hard-core Right Wingers will love that answer, but I'm fairly sure he's already got those folks on his side.
